WHAT IS KRADIGAN?
The concept for Kradigan was cooked up in an AP chemistry classroom during 2022 by a handful of nerdy, science-loving, teenagers who had bonded over their shared love for competition science. We wanted to share our passion and excitement for science with the world, while also hoping to communicate our writing in a more accessible, colloquial manner than typical technical textbook lingo.
Since then, Kradigan has lost most of its authors to the sands of time (ie they got bogged up by college and the like). The original chief conceptor, Tavishi, is the only author who remains and still writes.
This blog has thus transformed for a way for Tavishi to share her journey through academia and life while also hoping to infect her readers with the same scientific fervor that drives and excites her.

TAVISHI LAL

I'm an incoming second year student at the Royal Veterinary College studying on the BSci Wildlife Health Sciences course.
Born and raised in Arizona, I grew up surrounded by dramatic sunsets, craggy mountains, and incredible wildlife, which shaped me to become interested in biology and the natural world.
As I grew older, my obsession with animals turned into a passion for veterinary medicine, which also combined with a budding passion for pinnipeds (seals, sea lions, fur seals, and walruses), or my favorite animals in the world.
I aspire to be a marine mammal veterinarian, working in rescue and rehabilitation. My other academic interests include pathology, parasitology, and neurology.
I'm a big pickle fan, and dabble in classics and math on the side as hobbies.
